Calvary Church’s Christian youth program is called “Club Rock” for 1st-4th graders. Celia Navejas will be at the ‘Surprise Station’ as part of Dress Like a Pirate night reading and autographing her book Capitan Parchito and the Lost Treasure. The kids will be broken into three groups so she will be reading the story, answering questions and signing books 3 times that night as the different groups rotate into her station. Books are available for purchase at Calvary’s Corner Bookstore for $6.50 plus tax.

Red Ant Publishing will have a booth at the OC Children’s Book Festival this year offering signed copies of their books, drawing demonstrations, pirate picture opportunities and an IPOD giveaway. The Festival is free for everyone and in addition to books for sale by several authors, there will be an abundance of family fun activities such as face painting, crazy hair styling, an animal petting area, musicians, dancers, balloons, readings, drawings, food and so much more.
