Happy New Year!

January 4th, 2012

I know we all say this, but I cannot believe another year has passed already!  Our goal this year is to complete our Services page on our website.  We will be offering fellow authors the opportunity to self-publish their works through a division of Red Ant to be known as The Colony.  We are also planning to test our hand at creating e-books to be downloaded for your reading and viewing pleasure!

Additionally, Co-Founder Tammy West-Ruiz has started a blog showcasing some of her original artwork and the people who inspire her.  Have a look at  http://eyeshould.blogspot.com/ .

And lastly, don’t forget to LIKE us on Facebook.  We occassionally post special offers there for our fans and friends.

Happy 2012!

Vivant Gives Back Project

June 15th, 2011

Red Ant Publishing strongly supports any Epilepsy fundraising efforts in honor Jake Anaya, the inspiration for our first published book, The Quiet Lion: A Quest for his Lost Voice.  We’ve met lots of friends and families affected by the condition and recently said goodbye to two teenagers in our circle of support who passed as a result of the condition and its side effects.  You can help raise funding with just a click of your mouse!  Please support our cause by voting for the Dravet Sydrome Foundation with the Vivant Gives Back Project and help us win a portion of the $1.2 million they are giving to local charities.  Click here:  Vivant Gives Back Project

Services…Coming Soon!

May 10th, 2011

Tammy and I are often approached about how we created, published and marketed our first book, The Quiet Lion.  It was a long journey for sure!  I’m not saying we didn’t make a few mistakes here and there but we absolutely learned a lot!  True to our original vision, we are still very interested in helping others realize their dreams of becoming  published children’s book authors.  We may not be able to follow the same route as the big publishing houses, but we can help you the same way we helped ourselves!   Look for our services page, coming soon to our website, and join The Colony.
